Got a ticket to see her at the Royal Albert Hall in September. Looking forward to the album but not expecting anything too amazing. She's not done anything that fits that category for 15 years although I did like 'Night of Hunters' a lot.
Long long wait....

Yay although I put September instead of October because I'm such a dingaling. Very tempted to go wild and do Manchester and a Glasgow too - hotels and all. Never know how many times she'll tour in future. First in over 3 years which is long time for Tori.

[b Compared to other artists Tori has always been very prolific (something I love about her) but I also get the impression she is perhaps slowing down a bit (which is fair enough). Love how we have all bought tickets and yet have no idea what we are going to get - could be a reggae version of the Light Princess soundtrack for all we know! I always need to make the effort to see her at least once each tour - her Little Earthquakes gig in Edinburgh was the first performance by anyone that totally blew me away, and there are always a few moments still when she performs live that takes me back to that night... I've a lot to thank Tori for, whatever the quality of her current output. As long as she keepstouring I'll keep going!

I know Tori does very varied set lists although she does seem to perform 'China' and 'Landslide' at most of her shows in London I've been too and I don't care for either especially when they took up most of the 2 or 3 solo songs slot. I'm so jealous of anyone who saw a Little Eartquakes show. It must have been a magical experience. I only started seeing her in 1998 Plugged - I should have seen the 'Dew Drop Inn' tour. Was VERY tempted but was a bit funny about seeing shows on my own back then. Silly decision.
Fave gig was prob Manchester 2001. What was yours?

seen so many great Tori shows, oh the memories, probably my favourite was San Diego in 2001 I think, she played 2 shows in a day, 1 at like 7pm, 1 at like 10 pm, with almost 2 completely different set lists of songs it was the Strange Little Girls tour it's also nice when she plays a song you requested, once I asked for Toast and she played it sold it to her but telling her the story that I come from Barcelona

Awww I really like it - better than Trouble's Lament which I found bland. Like the big organ productio and melody strong. Sounds a bit 80s too.

Growing on me, but not as I had hoped - lacking a little in inspiration. She may benefit from taking 4-5 years away, rather than forcing an album (which is what she suggested on a recent FB live recording). Still, fingers-crossed for a few gems on the album

giving it another try my tori-friends all love it so maybe it's just me that doesn't like it... hate the production, too much guitar/too little piano, no chorus :/
