"Fantasy Island" was performed by three different acts Dutch National Eurovision pre-selection (The Millionaires, Bonnie St. Claire, Bill van Dijk). Four jury members voted for "Jij en ik" and the rest for "Fantasy Island". At the close of voting "Jij en ik" had received just 8 points (5 from Germany and 3 from Sweden), placing the Netherlands 16th of the 18 entries at Eurovision. Obviously it was a wrong song choice.
