20/01/2018 Rita Ora - Proud
Infinitely better than that horrific Fifty Shades Freed OST collaboration with a former One Directioneer. The British Rihanna's long awaited second album (six years after her debut, and a legal dispute with Jay-Z' Roc Nation which saw her career shut down for 2.5 years) is shaping up to be pretty decent, as this is the third track from it was is better than anyone could realistically expect it to be.

21/01/2018 Drake - God's Plan
Taken from the Canadian's hip-hop star new Scary Hours EP (since when has an EP been just 7 minutes 35 seconds long containing two tracks ... surely that is just a single), which features two new tracks: “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.” This track was teased during recent live events and even leaked in teaser form on social media during the later stages of 2017.

22/01/2018 Juliana Hatfield - A Little More Love
The 1990s Boston alt-rocker releases the lead track from the 16th April 2018 album .......... Sings Olivia Newton-John. As this is my favourite song by the "Thunder From Down Under" it would have been difficult to mess this up. A dollar from each album sold will be donated to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre (ONJ Centre).

25/01/2018 Franz Ferdinand - Feel The Love Go
The second single taken from their new album 'Always Ascending' due to be released 9th February 2018, has arguably the best new video of 2018, even though it looks like it was financed & directed by a mid-late 1980s Doctor Who producer.

01/02/2018 Dan Auerbach - Up on a Mountain of Love
The Black Key's musician returns with a cute animated video & Gram Parsons evoking alt folk country ballad that is NOT from his last solo album, Waiting On A Song. Certainly much better than that disappointing new single by a Glasgow indie synth pop group.
