Yeah I had a few songs left over from last week still to chart. Twist Helix are a local band from Ousburn Newcastle. Sound like an 80s electro Cranberries so I'm digging them at the moment

75. (NE.) Thyla - I Was Biting
Based in Brighton, UK. Thyla blend glassy distorted guitar tone with driving rhythms and lilting ethereal melodies. Front woman Millie Duthie brings crystal like beauty to Thyla's blend of dynamic alt rock mixing elements of Blondie & Interpol

73. (NE.) SEAWAVES - ApolloEAWAVES are a music duo from Manchester, United Kingdom. Comprised of Si Van Brussel and Daniel Benjamin, they blend elements of electronic, indie rock and pop to craft a sound which is filled with precision, impact and emotion. They had one of my biggest hits of 2015 with Birthday Party At The Sun Centre www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUO9zan5hTg

67. (NE.) Chris Cornell - You Never Knew My Mind
In 1996, Johnny Cash recorded a cover of Soundgarden’s hit “Rusty Cage,” written by frontman Chris Cornell, on his Grammy-winning album ‘Unchained.’ Twenty years later, Cornell wrote the next chapter in this unique musical relationship by setting a newly discovered poem of Cash’s to music, to create the stunning all-new song “You Never Knew My Mind.” It was recorded at the historic Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, TN, and marks one of Cornell’s final solo recordings.

Love Fickle Friends Daz. Saw them in Hull last week. On top form! They are such a good synth pop band, "Say No More" got to #8 in my chart in 2015 and they have been in and around my chart ever since. I do like how they have grown over the years and there sound has changed, started a bit like The 1975 but sound more like a cross between CHVRCHES and Haim now. I imagine they are quite good live, never seen them yet. Thorne...What the odds on a gig being cancelled and rescheduled for a night your already seeing someone!
