255. Hellogoodbye - S'only Natural This is the strongest group of 5 by a long way, as we come close to my top 250 these songs are all unlucky to miss out but it is why I do a 400 to fit everything in, ok first up we have Hellogoodbye, probably best known for their #4 single Here (In Your Arms), they are back with a much fuller sound and a more 80's vibe, I love it but then I have been a huge fan www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG7OOgg5yOk
254. CHVRCHES, WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA - Out Of My Head Chvrches pulled off a surprise with this non album single featuring J-Pop outfit Wednesday Campanella, I loved it at the time but my interest has waned a bit and its the lowest of 6 songs by Chvrches here www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w9Zs_OfEgs
253. Teddybears - Shimmy Shimmy Style Swedish Electro Rock band, their main members are the Ahlund brothers, one is a producer and regular collaborator with Robyn and the other was in the indie rock band Caesars, they released 2 new songs in 2018, this and Hustla which just missed my 400 www.youtube.com/watch?v=emhmCJLraqg
252. YONAKA - Own Worst Enemy Brighton's Yonaka are without a doubt one of the UK's most unique bands, Dark Alt Pop with heavy riffs and killer synths, one of many kick ass female fronted alt synthpop bands to breakthrough in 2018 www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAQmwnknTBs
251. Courtney Barnett - Crippling Self Doubt and a General Lack of Confidence Australian singer, songwriter rarely makes a bad tune, she had a great 2018 in my chart and this is the 2nd of 3 singles to make my countdown www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZ_UId3nDn8&t=

I agree Yonaka could do really well next year they have the support of Radio 1. Also there live dates supporting Bring Me The Horizon and Fever 333 will have helped their cause. Wish I had gone to that tour:(

It's an odd one, i can see why Snow Patrol might be overlooked i mean there's no stand out singles on there, it's nowhere near them at their peak and it's a real slow burner but, I was very dissapointed at the time, I was hoping for a big comeback but it was a muted comeback really but looking back 6 month later I still like the singles, probably even more than at the time
