19/12/2019 Dram - Litmas
Another song to possibly be mined in Haven's Xmasvision 2020 contest is this soulful R&B number by (an acronym for Does Real Ass Music) the Germany born US based rapper & singer/songwriter who released one studio album, and whose last single featured the critically acclaimed H.E.R.

20/12/2019 Kacey Musgraves & Lana Del Rey - I'll Be Home For Christmas
This cover of the Christmas song written by the lyricist Kim Gannon and composer Walter Kent and recorded in 1943 by Bing Crosby (as his seasonal follow up to White Christmas) was covered by the artist whom in 2018 had the Album Of The Year (Golden Hour) in AllMusic, American Songwriter, Apple, Entertainment Weekly, People, Sputnikmusic, Stereogum, Uproxx, The Village Voice; & won Album Of The Year Awards at the Grammys, CMAs, & ACMs with the artist whom in 2019 has won Album Of The Year (Norman f***ing Rockwell) accolades in Exclaim!, Gorilla vs Bear, The Guardian, The Irish Times, NPR, OOR, Pitchfork, The Ringer, Slant, Stereogum, Uproxx, & The Washington Post with more to follows shortly. Sadly this version from The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show seems to have been ignored in contrast to the USA (who are clearly missing out on Sausage Rolls....).

26/12/2019 Kanye West's Sunday Service Choir - Count Your Blessings
It’s a rare promise that the rap hip hop artist & entrepreneur has followed through on — he teased the release of Jesus Is Born last month when he announced his first opera. The 19-track album released on 25/12/2019 features gospel remixes of existing Kanye West songs and some other tracks, a lot of which have been performed at West’s events throughout the year. Here is the outstanding opening track.

30/12/2019 Another Sky - The Cracks
Seeing as there is nothing new released in this "twilight" period between Xmas Day & New Year's Day ... then I've gone back to earlier this year, for something by a new act for this & my final entry of the year .....
This London quartet based in Hackney seem like a more darker sounding cross between The xx & London Grammar, helmed by the asexual vocals of front woman Catrin Vincent from this April (2nd) release. They belatedly came onto my radar via an appearance on Jools Holland's Later in October.

31/12/2019 Working Men's Club - Teeth
The Yorkshire based band came onto the scene in January with an EP which sounded like a cross between Gang Of Four, Talking Heads & The Fall. But with this follow up track they sounded like a cross between Cabaret Voltaire & Underworld. They've been in the studio with producer Ross Orton to hopefully record their album's worth of live material they have aiming to release a debut album in 2020.

For 2020, I plan to abandon this thread format.
However, I plan to reactivate a new Personal Chart thread, which I will update as and when with tracks that I've taken a shine to, as sometimes you can go 3-4 days without hearing anything new that was worthwhile, then on the next day stumbling across 5 great tracks....
