30/11/2019 Madness - The Bullingdon Boys
The seminal British pop band’s first new music since 2016, ‘The Bullingdon Boys’ is a self explanatory, barbed swipe at the charlatans, rotters and chancers at the top of the tree who have done their best to take the shine off 2019.
The lads were puzzling over the fact of how was it possible that in Great Britain with 24,000 Schools 19 of the 54 Prime Ministers all came from Eton...David Cameron for example had 13 classmates in his front bench team! How Remarkable!

06/12/2019 Taylor Swift - Christmas Tree Farm
The 10-time Grammy Award winner and Forbes’ highest paid celebrity at the moment dropped a surprise Christmas single early Friday morning that she reportedly turned around in the past week.
“Christmas Tree Farm” cobbles together home video footage of Swift and her family from holidays past, when the singer was growing up with her brother on a Christmas tree farm in Reading, Penn.

07/12/2019 Billie Eilish - Xanny
The latest "single" from "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" features a self directed video featuring Eilish wearing a white sweater and just sits on a white bench, looking halfway between a mental institution and a Christmas commercial.

08/12/2019 Porridge Radio - Lilac
The Brighton based indie rock band signed to Secretly Canadian record label, will presumably put out their follow-up to 2016’s Rice, Pasta, And Other Fillers album next year. In the mean time here is their new single which has a PJ Harvey fronting Velvet Underground vibe to it.

09/12/2019 Lizzo - Good As Hell
It has currently climbed to USA #3; it already has a remix featuring Ariana Grande; (& to do an Earl Purple: It also already topped my Personal Chart) so what better time to release a video for it to push it (over/to) the top.... In the clip, we see Lizzo practicing and performing with the marching band and the dancers from Southern University, the Baton Rouge HBCU. Lizzo herself started playing flute in marching band in eighth grade, and she went on to study flute at the University Of Houston, so the whole HBCU tradition is relevant to her.

11/12/2019 MGMT - In the Afternoon
The Connecticut neo psychedelic band’s first independent release on their own MGMT Records sounds to me like a cross between early 80s Depeche Mode & the Cure.

15/12/2019 La Roux - Gullible Fool
English singer Elly Jackson releases her third album on 7 February 2020 through Jackson's own independent label Supercolour Records. I must admit I was underwhelmed by the first single International Woman of Leisure", But I think this is much much better.

16/12/2019 Las Kellies - Funny Money
Lauren Laverne's "While You Were Sleeping" track is actually a week old, as the music industry seems to go on holiday this time of the year to leave us at the tyranny of LadBaby, & co ..... This band are an Argentine post-punk group formed in 2005 whom release their new album, 'Suck This Tangerine' on 27th March 2020.

OK, it is the time of year when the music industry has pretty much gone on holiday, so it is time to post some 2019 Xmas tracks (unless anything amazing drops in the next week) starting off with what I think in a fair and just world would be Xmas #1 instead of the LadBaby bag of sh*te (don't give me the .... but its for charity bolloxs, why not go and donate directly instead of polluting the charts with a deeply unfunny track ....)
17/12/2019 Oh Wonder - This Christmas
Anthony West and Josephine Vander Gucht comprise the alt pop duo who release their new album 'No One Else Can Wear Your Crown' out 7th February 2020 on Universal music.

18/12/2019 Self Esteem - All I Want For Christmas Is A Work Email
Slow Club's Rebecca Taylor seasonal single with a strong and interesting lyrical angle on this time of year, which seems to have been completely ignored for far inferior witless dross like LadBaby; or that unfunny Robbie Williams Xmas album..
