Well said Daz
Raliverpool loves to cite other sources which back up his viewpoint as if that makes it more correct. At the end of the day its just another opinion - no better or worse than anyone else's.

The people who defend MJ should explain why they think it is acceptable for a grown man, let pre-pubescent boys sleep in his room. How is that ok? He was not a parent of the boys, nor even a relative, (to me that would still be a bit dodgy).
If anyone else said that they allowed 7 year old boys to sleep in their bed with him, they would be hung drawn and quartered, but somehow because MJ was the king of pop he could do whatever he wanted, without question.
However, to me I will not lose any sleep over it, at the end of the day he's dead, you cannot prosecute him, just like you couldn't prosecute Jimmy Saville. There were lots of rumours about him, but he was never even taken to court. It was only after his death lots of his victims came forward.
Time will tell what will happen about MJ's legacy, we will just have to wait and see how he is perceived say 10 years from now.
As for his fans you can keep listening to his songs, it's a free world, for others they would rather not.
But as far as this forum goes, let it go, none of us were there we don't really know the truth, yet. There is no need to call each other out.
We don't want members falling out over something like this, we need all the members we have to keep posting in all the other topics.

He's always been quite open about the fact that he's let children have sleepovers in his room though. McCauley Culkin described it as "playing video games in his room and just crashing out on the bed when they were tired". If the parents were ok with this then it's nothing to do with anyone else. If Iggy Pop can have sex with a 13 year old girl and boast about it in a song, and it be ok with the public then just sleeping in someone's bed shouldn't be an issue.

If I was raped and molested repeatedly for close to a decade and I had a choice aged 22 to either put him behind bars by giving evidence at the 2nd trial and stop my abuser from doing this to other kids or ask to have my wedding in his house I know what I would chose
The thing is, you don't.
People react to abuse in different ways. But a large proportion bury it. They forget it ever happened. Like a bad dream. Or think they were at fault. They did something wrong. Suggested they were consenting. Even didn't know what they were consenting to. So they want it kept secret.
Then something will happen which will bring it back to the forefront of their mind - and destroy it.
What is undeniable, is that either Jackson was a child abuser, or he wasn't. (Obviously.) But if he was, then he was never brought to justice and never will be - and the evidence is all now tainted. And if he wasn't, his reputation has been damaged beyond repair in an unfair way.

This is just the tip of the iceberg with the timeline inconsistencies where what they have said happened couldn't have possibly happened at the time they were there. I'm glad one of the papers is finally starting to report this side of it. The documentary makers have just responded by cutting the bits out that they have been called out on so what does that tell you!
