I suppose this is on the borderline between indie (shoegaze even) and harder rock. I saw them live in late 1991, but nothing else they did really lived up to the great promise of this song.

Despite being arguably one of the biggest "emo" bands around, Dashboard Confessional never had a Top 75 album in the UK, and never got higher than #60 in the singles chart. This, from the Spiderman 2 soundtrack, failed to chart here.

Yeah they were Emo before it was cool, Screaming Infidelities, Hands Down, Vindicated, Rooftops and Invitations, Stolen, Thick as Thieves, so many great singles

UK? Not even a glimpse of the Top 100. No idea why, back in 2007 rock tracks like this still stood a chance.
