57. The Amazons - End Of Wonder This young rock band rock band from Reading can do no wrong at the moment, they have just knocked the difficult second album out of the park, my favourite album of 2019 so even though I don't think this was an official single it was on Spotify as a single

55. Sunset Sons - Heroes Heroes was a #4 hit in my chart in November. Sunset Sons originally formed a covers band called The Cheerleaders, relocating to the French Alps for the winter to perform for the young snowboard crowd in the three valleys. After performing sometimes up to three shows a day in the various bars of the ski resorts and becoming known for their raucous shows and unusual choices of songs, ranging from Queens of the Stone Age, to Kanye West, they decided to write their own material.

51. Billy Talent - Forgiveness I + II Canadian rock band Billy Talent have been one of my favourite bands since I saw them live 5 or 6 years ago, I always liked them since Try Honesty hit MTV in 2003 but seeing them live was an experience I will never forget, they dropped Forgiveness I + II at the back end of 2019 so it didn't have time to peak when I made my list but it still made it in at 51, it is current #1 in my chart.
Chapter 1 of the mini film Billy Talent will be rolling out further episodes throughout 2020

49. Masked Intruder - Please Come Back To Me Please Come Back To Me was the second single from III which is their third album. Masked Intruder are known for the gimmick of wearing different colored ski masks and shoes on stage, using color-coded instruments, and never revealing their identities in publicity photos. They are also known for their early pop punk sound with their fast-paced songs, usually about love.

46. Green Day - Fire, Ready, Aim Green Day will release their 13th studio album in 2020 called Father of All Motherfuckers, this was the 2nd single and was a big hit in my chart peaking at #2, these new Green Day songs are a lot shorter, higher pitched vocals and a lot more garage rock than their usual material

43. The Futureheads - Good Night Out These Sunderland lads that are probably best known for Kate Bush cover "Hounds of Love" surprised me with an unexpected quality single from 2019 album Power. I have a long history with these guys, back in 2003 I bought their EP 1-2-3-Nul! which was limited to 1000 copies before they made it and they often play gigs in Darlington and mingle with the fans so seen them live atleast 3 times, oh and this was another #2 hit in my chart.

39. TWRP ft Dan Avidan - Starlight Brigade Tupper Ware Remix Party are a Canadian rock band, their lineup consists of keyboardist and vocalist Doctor Sung, guitarist Lord Phobos, bassist Commander Meouch, and drummer Havve Hogan a band, “hand-picked” by Sung from deep pockets of the “Multiverse,” throughout space and time as the story goes. They teamed up with Dan Avidan of Ninja Sex Party to release this cracking tune, one of my favourite music videos of 2019 too

38. Catfish and the Bottlemen - Fluctuate Van McCann and the boys had 5 songs in my top 400 this year, they are an anomaly of modern day music for an indie rock band, all 4 of their singles from their third album charted in the top 100 and the album was a #2 hit
