Ready to see all my favourites here Surprisingly, not as many as I expected so far, but 2009 was one of the weakest years of the decade musically for me. Bloc Party, Empire Of The Sun, Bat For Lashes and the two La Roux songs are the only ones I'd really call personal favourites. That said 'Killing In The Name Of' is awesome and if it is your #1 it makes your entire list unforgivable on its own

Ready to see all my favourites here Surprisingly, not as many as I expected so far, but 2009 was one of the weakest years of the decade musically for me. As I remember you are a fan of British rock bands. Don't want to spoil the results, but for sample such groups as Arctic Monkeys are much closer to my favourite acts than to the worst music in my notepad.

Ian Carey Project - Get Shaky (UK # 9) 5. Gossip - Heavy Cross (UK # 37) 6. Agnes - Release Me (UK # 3) 7. Nneka - Heartbeat (UK # 20) 8. Mika - We Are Golden (UK # 4) 9. Noisettes - Never Forget You (UK # 20) 10. Prodigy - Omen (UK # 4)
Ok, the first winner was very predictable. "Killing In The Name" is # 1 in my all-time worst songs list.

The only one from that set that I both remember and like enough to complain about is CSS.

What happened to 2008? My favourite UK top 40 single of 2009 (not counting any Michael Jackson re-issues) is in your top 10 And I also love Mika's "Love Today" which is in your 2007 list.

It's a random order. The lists for three years (2000, 2007, 2009) were compiled some months ago, that's why I will show them before the rest years.

I wasn’t a fan of Amy Winehouse until I saw her live and that changed everything , just 3 months before she died as well.

I liked some of Amy Winehouse's music, I think "Back To Black" and "You Know I'm No Good" are her best two songs. She didn't get so high in the singles chart but the album was massive, and when Gezza gets to 2007 I guess we'll see that when I do the album chart.
