20. Dorothy - A Beautiful Life ๐บ๐ธ
Dorothy are an American rock band formed in 2014 fronted by vocalist Dorothy Martin, 2022 saw them release their third album "Gifts from the Holy Ghost". From that album we got this banger, complete with powerful vocals, big riffs and a sing along chorus

19. Paramore - This Is Why ๐บ๐ธ
Took a while to get into this one and it clicked and became a #1 hit for 2 weeks in my chart, not sure about everything they have released since though, every song has been in the same vein but significantly worse, seems a bit Arctic Monkeys in that they had one interesting idea for a song then made an album that I will hate, hope I'm wrong

Good comeback for Arcade Fire, I don't know why they split the song in two, as a 6 minute track it works, this one spent 2 weeks at the top of my chart too

A band I've been a fan of since 2015 when they released "Joy In A Small Wage", they have been regulars in my chart in the 8 years since but 2022 saw them score their first #1 hit in my chart but the Southend-On-Sea indie rock band have had 11 top 20 singles in my chart over the years and came very close with "Graveyard Tourism"

The Amazons are another band that have been huge since charting with their debut back in 2016, they have now had 10 top 5 singles in my chart, "Bloodrush" should've been a #1 in my chart but it was kept off #1 by a song yet to come in my chart

You Me at Six are an English rock band from Surrey, they've been around a while now and released 8 albums, this is their first #1 in my chart but they had some big hits in my chart from their 2020 "Suckapunch" album and my chart only started in 2013 so a few of their early hits like Loverboy and Underdog missed out

13. Ghost - Mary On A Cross ๐ธ๐ช
Ghost had a surprise hit single in 2022 when a TikTok trend charted this one at #28 in the UK singles chart, it was one of two songs to be released On 2019 on EP "Seven Inches of Satanic Panic", in Ghost lore, the song was recorded in 1969 at Thorn Industrial Audio Recording Studios, Hollywood by the original incarnation of ghost, it has a very psychedelic 60s feel, heavy on the organs. On the back of the chart success Ghost re-released the song and made a video, it probably would be higher if it wasnt an older song

11. Mammoth WVH - Think It Over ๐บ๐ธ
I was early to the Wolfgang Van Halen party with I think his second single "Youโre To Blame", this lad has a huge future, one of the best debut albums I have heard considering he recorded the whole album himself and played all the instruments. When asked why he recorded the entire album himself, he stated that he wanted to challenge himself and referred inspiration from Dave Grohl's work as the sole member of the early years of Foo Fighters

9. Mรฅneskin - SUPERMODEL ๐ฎ๐น
Like most people I first heard this band when they won Eurovision with "Zitti e buoni" but it is what they have done since that has impressed me, "Supermodel" went to #1 in my chart and stayed there for 2 weeks followed by two more top 5 hits, first "If I Can Dream" from the Elvis biopic and the excellent "The Lonliest", right now they have 2 songs in my chart, both still climbing including Gossip which features Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, their new album "Rush!" is out now and will chart this week

8. Ghost - Call Me Little Sunshine ๐ธ๐ช
Dark brooding metal verses, then this almost cheesy 80's soft rock chorus, this is my favourite song about Mephistopheles, a demon featured from German folklore, a single in early 2022 from by album of the year "Impera". We are into the big its now with this one spending 3 weeks at #1 in my chart

5. YUNGBLUD - The Funeral ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
Youngblud has had plenty of big hits in my chart over the years but this is the first time he has topped my chart which I'm surprised about, he started off making hard hitting political punk tinged rock which I loved before going more pop with some hip hop slant, before going full on pop and then back to punk rock so quite the journey, no surprise his last two albums which are both very Avril Lavigne have done very well with me

2. Sigrid with Bring Me The Horizon - Bad Life ๐ณ๐ด / ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
The ultimate collaboration that we never knew we wanted but we defiantly needed, it is a collaboration by Norwegian pop singer Sigrid and British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. Originally written by Oliver Sykes and Jordan Fish for Bring Me the Horizon's Post Human: Survival Horror, the band decided that "Bad Life" wasn't appropriate for the record and decided to shelve the song. The band met Sigrid Raabe backstage at the Reading and Leeds Festival in 2021, finding out they were both a fan of each other's music. They felt like the song would be more appropriate for her style of music and offered her the song. Raabe accepted and rewrote the song and asked Sykes to collaborate on the track with her, oh and it topped my chart for 2 weeks
