Why are they shiny on the single cover?
Anyway its for charity and everything, so good for them. The song itself is garbage, however.

Donate direct to the charity, that will benefit them more, than the pennies from each of this sold.

Better still buy the food yourself and walk into your local food donation centre and they get 100% of it

Anybody else find it weird that they've used a song that was about helping to feed people dying in their millions due to famine in Africa, to about putting food into a foodbank in the UK?

Yes, because there's no comparison of our plight of people having to go to food banks, to living in a third world country where people are literally starving.

I think the only real alternative that could stop them realistically is Mariah or Wham! Others may have a good bash at it though.

Well I think we can safely say Ladbaby is the worse version of Do They Know Its Xmas to date by a long distance. Much as I would love this to be Xmas #1 with its more universal message:
The Anyone But Ladbaby campaign is getting behind Wham! - Last Christmas. Interestingly George Michael's estate refused persion for those two grifters who've made over £1 million from their brand as an indirect result of their charity singles which donate just 13-14% to their worthwhile charity. (Or for this year it will be 50% of that will go to the Trussell Trust and 50% being donated to the Band Aid Trust).
But after George Michael's death a lot of things came out about his generosity in private. All in stark contrast with this pair of opportunistic publicity seeking grifters who have put on their "A coat you wear twice once a year".
Little wonder they are a Tory supporters as they clearly share the same values:
Of the new Conservative administration, Hoyle said: “I’m sure they’re gonna do a great job.” Pressed on whether a government that introduced austerity would do anything to mitigate the issue of food poverty, he said that the nation had to have faith that “the right people” had been voted in. He declined to state who he had voted for, but clarified that he had voted, and that it was important to do so.
Or earlier this week:
‘If you want to stop me, donate to food banks all year,’ he told presenters Lewis and Kate Garraway. ‘Those baskets that you see in supermarkets behind the checkouts, put food in there and I can go away, I can have Christmas off.’
How about having a go at the (12 year long) cause instead of treating the systems like this editorial piece does:

Much as I would love this to be Xmas #1 with its more universal message: It's awful and not very far from RATM sh*t.

Does it taste of desperation and have chewy overcooked pieces of meat? Did they get paid to have their face and name on that and then 10p goes to the Trussell Trust?
