New member Christel Lakhadar joins them for the festival circuit this summer; I'm sure it'll be a long-lived line-up! So far they seemingly have three dates announced on SongKick, the earliest date next month on March 22nd in Mesa, Arizona, US (!): www.songkick.com/artists/116511-eternalETA: there's a trash metal band called Eternal that's playing in Arizona, mess Their first real date seems to be Superboxx in July for now. I hope this circus makes it way to my part of the world.

After the mess of the Eternal Reunion 1.0 falling spectacularly apart due Vernie and Easther Bennett caused controversy after reports in September 2023 refusing to perform at a number of LGBTQ+ Pride events and London festival Mighty Hoopla as part of Eternal's planned reunion
They stated "can’t support the LGBTQ community now it has an alliance with the trans community" causing Louise & Kelle to split, over their religious transphobia stance ....
It is surely a matter of time before they get invited to play the Conservative or Reform Party conferences.
The Reach For The Stars book on the late 90s to mid 00s UK pop scene had a few stories that highlight Vernie (not the sister who sings all the lead vocals), was a total diva/nightmare to work for/with.
It is sad Easther has not taken a leaf out of Deniece (5 Star) and gone solo from a toxic family b(r)and.

I forgot we're technically on Eternal 5.0: 1.0: Vernie, Easther, Kelle, Louise 2.0: Vernie, Easther, Kelle 3.0: Vernie, Easther, TJ Arlette 4.0: Vernie, Easther 5.0: Vernie, Easther, Christel Now, who is TJ you might ask? Well, she was technically in the group for a couple of days post-Kelle. I wonder how many days Christel will last?

Mess, though how can something have poor ticket sales when the new line-up has literally been announced? Did they expect those tickets to fly off the shelves? Though £50 for a re-jigged line-up is a... choice; Sugababes at the 02 had tickets below £40 available... and that was after spending a lot of time just building up their profile again and good will (a concept wholly unfamiliar to the Bennetts, but still).
