Think it is near impossible to see Song Of The South now on tv or streaming as it is viewed as ‘racist’ which of course it isn’t , it reflects a certain time and you just have to be aware of that like many old movies. You can buy the DVD or Bluray although maybe imports. To be honest the best thing about the film are the songs , the film itself t isn’t that good but then I haven’t seen it in about 40 years.

I watched it around 5 years ago expecting to find something highly offensive and racist, but couldn't find anything. Disney think that children shoudn't be watching it now and have withdrawn it. It's still around on the net, if you want to watch it.

Try watching it from a black perspective maybe. It features terrible black stereotypes who are seemingly content and complicit in their own slavery. It's insidious and it's incredibly telling that a bunch of white folk on here don't see anything wrong with it.
