I'm shocked! I think once you've done 50 years in the same job, what else is there? But then again, she's still young at 73. Some might see a soap career like that as one for life, but perhaps she can enjoy her retirement or do something entirely different before she does retire!

I'm gutted she's leaving. There's only Ken and Rita left now from the really old guard of when it was Hilda & Stan, Annie Walker, Elsie Tanner etc...

Maybe the jungle beckons Given they're both ITV they normally let them have the time off! Unless you think she's moving to the jungle, not just doing I'm a Celebrity!  |
