i love this band they're incredible, the best thing that's happen for quite some time...
i got both albums black cherry has a more modern sound, it very electric and aggressive at times and very mellow and organic at others
felt mountain, their debut, is absolutely breathtaking, it's an amazing piece of work, it has a very french 70s movie feel around it, very romantic, very inspiring, very emotional music
overall this band is fantastic, and their as challenging visually as they are musically
best tracks - tiptoe, hairy trees, strict machine, crystalline green, lovely hair, pilots, utopia - every f**king song is brilliant
if you like tori, mandalay, olive, portishead - you'll love them. get their music quick

Hey Ameraal - "Ryan" here As you know, I ADORE Goldfrapp! A tremendous band. Two of the best albums of this decade so far! I'm really hoping that they don't wait to long to stick out the third album - Next Summer seems a good time to capitalise on their increasing popularity. Who knows - Maybe a top 10 album can come their way?

Goldfrapp are indeed one of the best things that happened to popmusic in the last few years... have both albums and love them both equally in a different way... Felt Mountain being my favorite though... Black Cherry was, but Felt Mountain doesn't go out of fashion...

I did like strict machine I have to say, think HomesPlace may be a fan, not sure? I wouldn't call myself a fan but I do own and like 'Felt Mountain' to some extent. It's got a wonderful, cinematic atmosphere throughout, albeit I'm not too sure about the strength of the melodies. I do like the singles of the second album but probably too poppy for me to buy!

Definitely not the only one, I LOVE Goldfrapp!!! Both albums are fantastic... they're great live too, saw them as support for Duran Duran and they blew me away!
