Couple of things:
Someone on another message board (Cinerama, I think) asked me what the big deal is about them, anyone care to explain? The post, btw is: 'I like to think I'm a pretty easy going kind of guy. There's a shedload of music out there that I don't particularly care for but I can understand why other people might like it. BUT........then there's the Scissor Sisters. Did I miss a meeting? I am totally mystified as to why ANYONE would EVER want to listen to them........ AT ALL. Please, if someone could explain it to me (Sofie?) I will be eternally grateful, its been bugging me for months.' (We were talking about Galstonbury, btw)
And, is their album worth getting?

I adore them Don't know why. Very retro, fun, quite refreshing. If you like the singles, I'd reccommend the album

I loved Take your mama and also Laura, very poppy catchy dancey stuff. Did not like the pink floyd cover though

£9.99 is usually the maximum I go.
HMV completley rip people off. £13.99 for an album? Bloody ridiculous!

I guess for many, HMV is the first place you think of when it comes to buying CDs - as they have the widest range. It's just a matter of convinience for most people to go there. I know that's where my parents ALWAYS go no matter how many times I tell them

Why do they feel the need to put them up to £16.99?

dunno really, but it's far too much to pay for a CD. One way to lose money though (the company) considering that people will more than likely download the CD and copy it to disc...
