This past week has been a musical goldmine for me. I found several great songs last Saturday and another round of super songs yesterday (Saturday). Several of them are straight from our resident superstar DJ Brett's show. Last week I found: Call Me Mellow - Tears For Fears (new single, finally) Popular - Darren Hayes (great pop) Eve, The Apple of My Eye - Bell X1 (found on someone's personal chart here) We Are - Ana Johnsson (again someone's chart here) Yesterday's finds: That Girl - McFly (thank you Magic Bert) Angel - The Corrs (again that stud Brett) Rollin' - Big & Rich (Oh my another from Brett) Treat Infamy - Rest Assured (Brett, again) Beautiful Child - Madyline (Brett, bless you) Nemo - Nightwish (another chart here) Holiday in Spain - Counting Crows & Blof (German chart) Orchestra - The Servant (German or Dutch chart) American Idiot - Green Day (new single - Itunes) That's just the ones I really, really like. Compiling my chart is going to be tough this week. May finally have to expand to 30 or 40. Dad says the McFly one sounds like the Beach Boys. The four of us were dancing like adolescent fools to it. My sister loves it and says Brett is a God for delivering it to her ears on his legendary show yesterday. I'm in music heaven, ahhhhhh

I thought there were 4 McFly boys. I might be wrong. I prefer Busted. I pay, little attention, hear the first few chords and off it goes;) Although I think 3am is ok, as was sleeping with the light on for busted, rest has been utter dirge though;)

The whole McFly sound is like The Beachboys. I'm liking the Green Day song lots ;D Those two are my favorites of the bunch. Also the Counting Crows song is very cool with the mix of German and American.

Glad you're liking Darren Hayes and the Ana J song, I dont see this Beach Boys sound myself, I think the Beach Boys offered SO much more than 3 kids! I agree on the Beach Boys offering more over their career, but they weren't all that deep either. They had some classics but if you look close, they're just some great pop songs. Please don't hit me. Sloop John B is my fave. I don't have a clue who or how many McFly are, I just love that song. Makes me wanna jump around, er some might call it dancing. My dad made me burn him a copy of that, and Nightwish.
