Well this week after Nadia's surprise climb to the top, Eminem finally takes the last step and climbs to #1 for his first week, knocking Nadia to a comfortable #2. Band Aid carry on up the charts, into the top 3 this time... where will it stop? It's not a good week for Charity records, as Girls Aloud shoot up from #30 to #5, giving them only their 2nd top 5 hit after Love Machine.
2-Play, Khia and Brian McFadden make big gains on the edge of the top 10, while the highest new entry comes from the Cheeky Girls at #18. New entries also come from Embrace, The White Stripes, Lemar, Ciara and Pop!.
RULES FOR VOTING:
You are allowed 10pts to play with.
You must choose AT LEAST 3 songs to hate, giving a maximum of 5pts to any song
You dont have to use all your points
You can only pick singles, or songs that are DEFINITELY scheduled to be singles in the future.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if there is any issue, name the artist AND the single so i count votes for the right songs! If there is any ambiguity, I will pick the highest charting song by that act from the last chart.
There are no restrictions on which singles, but its a bit thick to pick some 6 month old song, cos its unlikely anyone will think of it too!
The chart will be done every Friday with any luck, and voting for next week will be done in this weeks chart thread
