Cheers for this, i was just starting a thread asking who would make the list, i guessed about 6 i think... here are my opinions on them...
Basement Jaxx - Kish Kash good singles. Belle & Sebastian - Dear Catastrophe Waitress ok singles Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand class album! Jamelia - Thank You it was her or will in for pop. Keane - Hopes and Fears sounds good. Snow Patrol - Final Straw very good album Joss Stone - The Soul Sessions not my thing, but great for a 16 year old. The Streets - A Grand Don't Come for Free good first 2 singles, not usually my cup of tea though... Ty - Upwards who and what? Amy Winehouse - Frank heard one single, twas good Robert Wyatt - Cuckooland who? zutons - who killed the zutons, liked the singles...
looking at the list, winning it would pay off for the bottom 4, (excluding zutons) really who are underrated or unheard of, the others have all really shifted enough units already and will benefit from increased sales anyway... I'd like FF to win it, but think jamelia, streets or Ty might... The Zutons - Who Killed The Zutons
