What on earth was it about? And why does Bowyer feel the need to hit people with a diff colour skin? For once I will watch MOTD normnally avoid it, but this sounds brill, not for Toon fans though, both banned for the semi final match now!  Poor Robbie!  |

there's never a dull moment at St James! I waited until I saw it on MOTD to comment - all the fan sites were saying Bowyer nutted then punched Dyer who just tried to defend himself. After watching MOTD I can see this is mostly true. So, which club will Bowyer be joining next? There's no way he can stay at Newcastle after that. perhaps we can set up an ongoing loan deal with Celtic to keep farming out our wayward players Also, Bowyer needs to come clean, otherwise if the red card stands for both players they'll both miss the FA cup semi-final. Bowyer's last act at Newcastle could be to get Dyer off a red card... |

I thought it was great entertainment at least! Poor old Lee couldn't get the ball from Kieran...I hope that Kieran does get off the red card that hes got, also great acting from Taylor (?) ;D
Referee was way too biased, I thought a couple of penalties should have went NU way.

I doubt even the lone briancell was operating that day... I'm not a big fan of the Premiership and so therefore of MOTD, too many foreign players and foreign managers take away some of the meaning of it for me...I want to see the best foreign players in our top league, I dont want to see average and at best, the worst players in our top league, who are just milking it for the cash, so I stopped watching after a while...I wish chelsea all the best, mourinho has done a grand job and at least he looks at British talent, arsenal and their foreign buying policy is beginning to tick me right off, I mean France are not a great national team anymore, so why have arse got all these rubbish french players? |

I think this is an absolute disgrace. If they can't manage 90 minutes without getting into a punch up then they don't deserve the vast wages that they're on.
There ought to be a rule saying that if you start a punch up then you are out for good. They have a responsibility to set an example.

It was all rather comical but also pretty disgraceful. If I was in charge at Newcastle i'd seriously consider culling some of these players from the squad-there's just too many disruptive influences for things to all work smoothly. Mind you, i'm sure Souness has realised that much.

Im sure there was more to it than he just wudnt pass him the ball, dyer has no respect for anything, just look at earlier this season when he refused to play right midfield, practically cost Robson his jub....Dyers allways out clubbing n getting in trouble...only a year back he was caught up in a roasting sex scandle.
He deserves more than 3 punches in the face the amount of money he gets n the young people that look up to him
