There are 3 more qualifying tournaments coming up.
Next week is qualifying for the Malta Cup, which takes place at the end of January. The week after is qualifying for the China Open, which takes place in March. The following week sees the qualifying tournament for The Masters in January, with only one qualifying place available.
For the Malta Cup, the top 15 plus Shaun Murphy qualify automatically. However, Ronnie O'Sullivan has not entered the tournament, so world #16 Ian McCulloch qualifies automatically. Also, Tony Drago's qualifying matches will be held over until the start of the tournament, so they can be played in Malta.
For the China Open, the top 14 qualify automatiaclly, plus Shaun Murphy, plus defending champion Ding Junhui. This means world #15 Steve Davis will have to come through the qualifying tournament.

I'm paying attention to this, Mr. H, just so you know you're not on your own here.

Saw an interview with Jimmy White on Sky Sports earlier. He says he plans to play for another 10 years, or at least until he wins the world championship!

Saw an interview with Jimmy White on Sky Sports earlier. He says he plans to play for another 10 years, or at least until he wins the world championship! I'd love to see him win the world championship, I really would, but I don't think he's got the mental capability to do it nowadays, unfortunately.
