I can't believe Ronnie did that, not very sporting at all.

Amazing stuff.
I think he would've lost the match anyway but you don't walk out like that.
That said, he obviously has some mental issues going on and I hope those in charge aren't too hard on him. The man needs help more than anything.
In the other quarter-final, Graeme Dott is one frame away from victory against Steve Davis. Could we see a repeat of the world championship final?

It's very likely but I'd like to see Steve get at least another frame or two on the board.

I'm looking forward to seeing the provisional ranking after this tournament.
I think if either Higgins or Dott wins, they'll move up to #1 in the rankings.

What a weird turnout of events, I've just watched it on BBC Sport and was shocked that he just walked out. Hopefully whatever he is suffering with, I hope he can resolve and get back to playing the game.

It's Ebdon v Hendry in the final. Should be a good one. Usually is when those 2 play.
Ebdon's playing very well. Better than when he reached the world final. Hendry's back on form but I'm slightly surprised he beat Dott. In my opinion, Dott had played better than anyone else in the tournament until this stage.
Not 100% sure what the result means for the world rankings but I would guess Dott has missed the chance to move up to #1 and Higgins will be there on Monday instead, overtaking Ken Doherty. The winner of the tournament may possibly move into the top 5.

Ebdon did play very well in his semi-final match, so much so that I actually found him good to watch! It will be a good match but I'm backing Hendry for the win.

Peter Ebdon has won the UK Championship by beating a worryingly out-of-sorts Stephen Hendry 10-6 in the final.
