nah, they weren't booing Roonie, I think somebody was chucked out because of the shouting during Ronnie's last frame and ignored the ref's "quiet" warning.
Its definately the best I've seen any snooker player play and I feel sorry for Ding, but a lot of positives and lessons he can take from this tournament and improve on.

Great display by Ronnie on Sunday. He was at his best. Also nice to see the care and respect he showed for Ding.
Let's hope it doesn't affect Ding too much. He's definitely a future world champion, possibly this year, depending on him qualifying and what draw he gets.
China Open qualifying is going on this week. News on that in a couple of days.
The next tournament is the Malta Cup, starting on Sunday. Not totally sure but coverage will probably be on Eurosport.

As far as I'm aware, Ronnie IS making the trip to Malta after missing the tournament last year. It might be a couple of days before his first match though as his opponent isn't yet decided. Tony Drago's qualifying matches have been held over to Malta so the home fans can see their hero in action. He plays Lee Spick, with the winner of that playing John Parrott, the winner of that playing Michael Holt and the winner of that playing Ronnie in the first round.

Will this be televised, on Eurosport or something like that? The qualifiers won't but the tournament itself should be on Eurosport. It doesn't take place until March though. It's the last tournament before the World Championship. Calendar for the rest of the season: 28 Jan - 4 Feb: Malta Cup (Portomaso) 12 Feb - 18 Feb: Welsh Open (Newport) 22 Feb - 2 Mar: World Championship qualifying (Prestatyn) 12 Mar - 15 Mar: World Championship qualifying (Sheffield) 25 Mar - 1 Apr: China Open (Beijing) 21 Apr - 7 May: World Championship (Sheffield)
