Not a good day for England.
Pakistan 300-4
They were 73-3 at one point. In 2 slightly amusing notes, Ian Bell took his first test wicket and Kevin Pietersen took a catch.
Michael Vaughan is back in the England side, replacing Paul Collingwood.

Doesn't look good, we need to start winning the toss.

Thought as much.
Without a good second-day performance, it's over and done with.

Oh dear! Unless we manage to bat out for the rest of tomorrow, the series is over.

The batsman have taken the light at 113-3. There really needs to be some efficient batting tomorrow if we are to save this test.

Shahid Afridi has been banned for one Test and 2 ODIs for scuffing up the pitch.

We're still not in a good position at 353-6 at tea, but at least it's better than we were at close yesterday. If we can reach 400 it would be a huge achievement.

391-7 at the close of play. An excellent come back from England.

A draw seems the most likely result now unless either team suffers a 2nd innings collapse

Hopefully we should get past 400 now, but I can't see us winning the match from here. It would take a stupendous bowling performance tomorrow for that to happen, but who knows with this England team.

Be good to draw and then see if we can get batting first and win the last test.

Pleasing rearguard action from England. But there is still a lot of work to be done.
If Pakistan knocked off a few quick runs and England had to bat to save it who knows?

Pakistan 183-6 now... just under 200 ahead. Are England capable of knocking the other four wickets off and getting the run chase?
