Well, that served me right for doubting the appeal of the cup! A weekend that completely restored my interest and faith in the competition Saw very little of the Man U-Pompey game in the end, but from the bits I did see it seemed to be all Man U, a complete smash and grab from Pompey. And no, I didn’t think it was a penalty either, and agree with daz that the red card was harsh. Must admit I’m not sure Nani was behind the goalie when he made the challenge, (which may have been what made up the ref’s mind) but with Rooney on the line pretty much in the middle of the goal, and Nani able to get back as well, a yellow card would have sufficed. I also thought it was a penalty on Ronaldo, but it wasn’t as cast iron as the callers on 606 suggested. My dad disagreed with me on both decisions, needless to say! Saw the whole of the Barnsley-Chelsea and Boro-Cardiff games. Thought both Barnsley and Cardiff thoroughly deserved to win. Yes, Chelsea had their chances, but they were few and far between and so did Barnsley, and I can’t remember Luke Steele having a thing to do, same for the Cardiff goalie. Saw the 2nd half of the Bristol Rovers-West Brom game which was good after a slow start, although the scoreline was harsh on Bristol Rovers who didn’t deserve to lose as heavily as that.

The four teams left will never have a better chance of winning something i think Pompey have had the luck of the cup this season and will win it ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/WkoAxKupDXiUlSqYdleR.gif)

Its wide open now, but with Pompey's luck, not only in this round but also against Preston as well, I fancy them to win.

I think west brom v portsmouth will be a very tight affair but i expect Pompey to edge it .The other semi is anybodys for the taking ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/999290/images/WkoAxKupDXiUlSqYdleR.gif)

Can anyone tell me if the FA Cup semis are live on BBC1? One will be on BBC, one will be on Sky. And its looking like the Portsmouth-West Brom match will be the BBC's pick not surprisingly, so Kriss i'm afraid you probably won't be able to see the Barnsley game.

Dates, times and channels confirmed: Saturday April 5th Portsmouth v West Brom (12:15, BBC) Which is a really silly kickoff time - Sky are showing the Arsenal v Liverpool match at 12.45 on the same day...
