It lost it years ago, but liked the erection joke at the start with Ross, thought that was quite daring for the Yanks;)

Load of old sh*te! It was at it's lowest point in Season 6, which isn't that great, but really picked up in seasons 7 & 8, they were excellent. The last season has kept the high quality, which is why it's so high in the ratings. I liked this first episode, I thought it was pretty solid (though I couldn't work out those freaky bedrooms...) I also liked Phoebe's exchange... "I'm going to call you Susie." "But my name is Precious!" "Yes, but I can't call you that..."

I guess I'm biased, being such a Friends addict. It's one of the few programmes that really does have me laughing out loud... I think it's a show you either love or hate...it's probably a bit too nice for some people (oooh, just like Dot Haven! ;D) Channel 4 shows it FAR too often, though...

Just watched friends. This series has been really disappointing so far, especially as I've been looking forward to it for so long. Don't think I laughed once tonight

Oh I laughed a few times... but then I think I know the characters and actors so well that they just make me laugh no matter what. Ahem. However, I did think the whole penis shaped birthday cake storyline was in slightly bad taste...

A PENIS shaped birthday cake! Yeah....they had ordered a bunny shaped cake, but it came back as penis shaped with a picture of the baby stuck on it...it just seemed a little bad taste for my liking, and I've never had that with an episode of Friends before.

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

I love Friends too. I watch about 5 episodes aday: 2 On "France 2", 1 on "AB1", 1 on "Canal Jimmy" & 1 on "RTL9"....in french! I guess some of the humour get lost with the translation...but it's really still very funny.
