well i finally bought the elm street 7 disc box set the other day, been wanting it for ages, so glad i got it!! cant wait to watch them and bring back my childhood scares!!

1, 3, 4, 7 and Freddy vs Jason are the most worthwhile. 6 is virtually unwatchable I find!

nah they aren't AS scary but still wouldn't go downstairs in the dark, lol. but when freddy runs it makes me laugh, looks like hes pooped his panties, hee hee.

yeah they dont tend to show them anymore, i jst remember wes cravens new nightmare being on a couple of years ago. when i was little my brother had cable in his room and he used to sneak me thru in the middle of the night to watch them, then i couldnt get to sleep, lol. love them now!

I've got the complete Freddy saga too, bought Vs Jason separately. I love bad horror movies, but even I must admit that Nightmare 1 and New Nightmare are genuinely chilling in places. On a separate note, Hallowe'en 3, the one NOT about Michael Myers, is on next week!

yeah older horrors are the best, new ones are just pants these days!! the first one was the best, new nightmare was rather good too, i cant remember 3, cos for some reason i had all the videos and 3 went missing so havent seen that one since i was little, so i will look forward to seeing that one again!
