What does that Gold and Platinum stuff mean? Well in my mind I pretend that the songs in my chart sell??? sad I know and so the awards are Platinum(600,000) Gold(400,000) Silver(200,000) It's sad but it makes it more interesting for me

It's a strange one, when you know it's a bit odd that you do things like give songs awards for something that doesn't actually happen and someone says it's OK I feel very special

Nah, if at the end of the day, you really like the record, why not give it awards...
I dunno, I've never done a personal chart!

LOL! But does it really matter what anyone says? No it doesn't. If I really did care what other people thought. I would have stopped my chart about 15 years ago... Thank god I didn't I really enjoy doing them

01 09 01 WILL YOUNG: LEAVE RIGHT NOW (Gold) 3rd wk at No.1 Quite good for him.
06 07 03 DIDO: LIFE FOR RENT Good but not as much as White Flag. Have the album.
08 08 05 MUSE: HYSTERIA Good but I'm used to the formula now so this doesn't inspire me so much. It's 4 years now since they released Muscle Museum. I did buy this album too.
16 02 07 THE DARKNESS: CHRISTMAS TIME (DON’T LET THE BELLS END) Just bought it today.
11 05 09 BLUE/STEVIE WONDER/ANGIE STONE: SIGNED SEALED DELIVERED I’M YOURS Bought this too - the original is good of course and Stevie Wonder does sing on this version too.
07 07 07 GIRLS ALOUD: JUMP (FOR MY LOVE) Would have been in my chart were it not for my bias against covers.
18 03 12 IDOLS: HAPPY CHRISTMAS (WAR IS OVER) Ooh, didn't buy this and the original is much better - in fact John Lennon's version was also on the CD of Imagine 4 years ago, and Imagine is on the CD released last week. The difference is the 3rd track, which was Give Peace A Chance in 1999 and is Instant Karma this time around.
19 04 13 SUGABABES: TOO LOST IN YOU Didn't buy it because I plan to download.
14 06 14 TRAVIS: BEAUTIFUL OCCUPATION Bought this although I already have it on the album.
09 04 09 ALEX PARKS: MAYBE THAT’S WHAT IT TAKES Biggest hit in my chart ever now for a pop-idol/fame academy/pop-stars act.
10 13 02 STEREOPHONICS: SINCE I TOLD YOU IT’S OVER (Gold) Ok - but I think they've done better. Still "Madame Helga" failed to reach my chart at all.
33 04 17 KELLY & OZZY OSBOURNE: CHANGES Ozzy got to NM #1 with "Dreamer" in 2002 but I don't think this will get there. Surprised it reached UK #1.
15 07 06 STARSAILOR: BORN AGAIN Their year in my chart was 2001.
20 14 01 SUGABABES: HOLE IN THE HEAD #1 (3wks) 2x Platinum How do you work out the disc status?
34 05 21 NO DOUBT: IT’S MY LIFE Talk Talk's version got to NM #3 in 1990.
17 11 05 ROBBIE WILLIAMS: SEXED UP Currently NM #5.
29 03 23 ATOMIC KITTEN: LADIES NIGHT I'll have to look up how high Kool & The Gang's version did in my chart - they appear on this version too.
24 09 17 TIM BURGESS: ONLY A BOY Good - though 2 years ago "A Man Needs To Be Told" reached NM #4.
36 18 06 THE DARKNESS: I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE (Silver) Reached my chart twice.
30 13 04 EMMA BUNTON: MAYBE Been around a while.
00 01 36 EVANESCENCE: MY IMMORTAL Should enter my chart this week.
