wow - didn't realize you liked your 'dance-punk' quite that much! Make sure to get Elefant - Sunlight Makes me Paranoid sometime... came out in 2003 and is a blinding album (that i put in to this 'genre')!

it's a silly term I agree... Indie Rock that you can dance to is a general rule of thumb for it... why the use the word 'punk' is beyond me... just another sub-genre that means nothing, but it is a convenient tag is all...
most everything there is tho (not James Blunt, Oasis, etc of course)... I like most all this too - was meant as a compliment!
