ANALYSIS
Drop outs from last week are THE ROSE OF MY COLOGNE, MANEATER and PLEASE, PLEASE.
New entries are seen from Morrissey and the Killers, with a 2nd re-entry for Kelis's long-delayed BOSSY. Morrissey lands high at #10, can he progress any further? Either way, it's a 3rd top ten hit from his current album! The Killers claim the bottom position this week but have plenty of time to grow on me. Kelis scores her 12th week on the chart, having progressed as high as #17 on a previous climb. For now, she's back at #39.
CHASING CARS scores a 4th week at #1 in its 14th week on chart which matches th3 4 CHOCOLATE spent at the top in 2004. A new runner up this week is LOVE DON'T LET ME GO (WALKING AWAY) which eases up to #2, with the Scissor Sisters at #3 and Gnarls Barkley finally dropping to #4.
Thanks in many ways to Natalie Bassingthwaighte's scene-stealing turns in "Neighbours", VOODOO CHILD rebounds 2 places to its peak of #5 after 8 weeks on chart, leaving The Feeling and Pink in its wake, despite large climbs of their own.
Jamelia makes an impressive 25-15 climb in her 2nd week on chart, whilst Beyonce and Matt Willis also make excellent progress into the top 20 at Madonna's expense who drops 9-21, but in her 16th week on the charts.

Hating a few songs listed in your chart ("Deja Vu", "U + Ur Hand" *cough*found in Veronica's dust bins*cough*) but some are amazing! Key example: 24 26 24 LDN - Lily Allen (5) Quite a good chart overall .

Deja Vu struck me as awful when I first heard it, but I've been giving it a chance. U and UR Hand is ace!

I find it too similar to everything else the guy that produces it makes, "U + Ur Hand" that is. You can sing multiple songs right over it lol,
The Veronicas "4Ever" Ashley Parker Angel "Let U Go" Kelly Clarkson "Since You've Been Gone"
I haven't liked Pink since she's released "Trouble" though, ever since then I've found her image so fake and cliche it's almost embarrassing, hah.

Ah, I guess it's a US thing. The Veronicas and APA whilst known to me as names, have never troubled my musical tastes. I've never heard of either of their songs you mention! I've obviously heard of Kelly as she's big over here too, but I think "Who Knew" is far more like "Since U Been Gone" than "U and Ur Hand".
