Einar Örn, from the Sugarcubes, replied to a post by a fan on Björk's official 4um about his unique style of rapping, which features in many Sugarcubes songs:
clayfighters2: I really don't like him, i was reading that Björk book "Wow and Flutter" i think it's called and Einar proper cuss's Björk down and calls her a bitch for when she started trying new things and started to driff away from the band, i just thought he was too harsh, no one else was being like that towards Björk except him, i just didn't like the vibe i was getting from this man.
Einar: That is very interesting if you read that out of this book, as I declined to be interviewed for this book. So did the rest of the Sugarcubes, Björk included. The author of the book does not interview any of us who experienced the Sugarcubes at first hand. All suggestions and assumptions regarding the Sugarcubes and our relationships are made by third party people who can not at all have had the same knowledge and experience of what we were doing, saying and or thinking. The are just assuming, giving their version of our history. As a fictional read the book serves its purpose but as a factual read it is wrong in many parts. Names are spelt wrongly and instances and events happen in the wrong order, so much so, that it is infuriating at times to read through it. Comments made by people about us, who were in the Sugarcubes are though at time so incredible that one starts to believe that we were actually aliens. There is a book which actually covers the sugarcubes a lot better, and that is the book by martin aston, björkography. It has though some mistakes, but not as fundamental as the fictious 'wow and flutter'. As for given vibe for myself, just check what I say in the extraordinary Southbank Show on Björk! The Sugarcubes stopped making music together as we did not want to damage our friendship as the band had become a economic relationship. Today, all of us are good friends, which 'wow and flutter' will not take away from us.

I don't know too much of the Sugacubes hit - only the excellent 'Hit' but people say he ruined EVERY record. Anyone else a fan?

I got 'Life's Too Good' and I think the first 5 songs are really brilliant ! I don't have that much problem with his voice. Sometimes he manages to get this sorta effect like Paddy Bush and it may be annoying sometimes, but I certainly don't think the combi of Bjork and his voice ruined this record.
