if it was, good if it wasn't, what was she thinking it's one of her best tracks ever! when i look at the tracklisting of "the whole story" i dread the answer is no

I think it was, actually, as a 2 track single. then it must've flopped, i can't see any other reason than that to not include it on a greatest hits.

As Bside 'Houdini'. Indeed a very lovely song. It probably flopped, yes. But I assume there are enough songs represented from 'The Dreaming' on the compilation (?)

It was actually only released as a single in Ireland. They released different third singles from 'The Dreaming' Album in various countries.
In the UK they had 'There Goes a Tenner' which didn't even go top 75.
In Ireland they had 'Night of the Swallow' but don't know if it was a hit or not.
But in several European countries 'Suspended in Gaffa' was the third single and apparently it made top 10? Anyone know where..
