it has to be the 70's for me. the 80's were the worst, i like every other decade apart from that one!!

odd as I don't listen to much anything before the 80's. The 90's had the best music I think, but last two years have the 00's coming on strong...

Hard to say, I grew up in the 80s, or discovered music then, so it had a big influence on me, this decade has been a rediscovery of music for me as well... 70s were also class as well though, I mean Abba and T Rex! ;D

i agree with all that is said so far but i must say that the 50's and 60's is where music as we know it is rooted in my opinion of course. i lived in small town saskatchewan for most of mhy childhood and we only got 1 good radio station. 620 CKCK i think it was called, and it was nothing but 50's 60's and a little 70's music. everthing from johnny horton to the beatles. god i love rock and roll
