They were fantastic! I had the privilege of seeing them live about 18 months ago and they rocked, got a good crowd too. It's time for a Pointer's revival. They had a #1 in Belgium with a cover of 'Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves' a month or two ago and a sold out tour with Belgium's Pop Idol winner. (you'll notice they have lost trampy June Pointer from the lineup - that's Issa Pointer standing next to her mother, Ruth. ) I think their best single was the Neutron Dance from Beverly Hills Cop! So what's your favourite Pointer classic! Slow Hand, I'm So Excited, Jump (For My Love), Dare Me. Their flop singles are just as good as their hits IMO.

Their recent succes in Belgium is because of Natalia's status ( belgian idols winner). She is massive, great voice and some great tunes that would have been worldwide smashits if only she was British or American... p.s. i'm not a fan but just a bit patriotic

Mel (arcadia) loves jump as it reminds her of her roller disco days!

"Automatic" I've always loved. I remember learning the lyrics as a little kid on my new walkman.

Break Out is one of the great pop albums of the 1980's IMO
