Just bought this cos it was on a repeat of that "100 Greatest Albums" show on Channel 4 last night.
3 tracks in so far, and I'm impressed so far despite the pretty shoddy production! ;D.
Anyone else on here who bought it?.

I do have it and it's great. Second only to Feeder in my affections.

It may be THE most influencial record in history... (Think '80s New Wave; 90s (real) indie; contemporary psych-pop). Nico was astonishing. There can never be enough praise for 'All Tomorrow's Parties' or 'Sunday Morning'. I strongly urge everyone to seek her first solo LP "Chelsea Girls": the absolute masterpiece of pop catatonia. The latter is produced by John Cale, whose electric viola is so much responsible for the chromatsms in the Banana ('Venus in Furs', Heroin', 'European Son', 'The Black Angel's Death Song'). The 'shoddy production' was in fact an artistic statement (junkie studio-garage). The US East Coast has never come out of it (think: Sonic Youth, Pixies, The Make Up).
