I was having a sort through some old CD's and vinyl and stumbled across a couple of Voice Of The Beehive albums - Let It Bee and Honey Lingers. Had a listen and forgotten that they had some good tracks, such as Don't Call Me Baby. Anybody remember these guys, or know if they ever released anything after these two albums? Many thanks Smurfie

I used to like them. Don't know of anything beyond those albums.
I really liked "Monsters & Angels" and "I Walk The Earth" both of which I have on 7inch single (somewhere!)

I remember them. I liked their songs. My fav song by them is Perfect Place, great ballad.

Dandy sent me a cd with some of their hits on, very, very catchy and hard to believe they were not top 10 hits. Pop at it's best! I remember their Honey Lingers album

Their biggest NM hit "I Say Nothing" reached #3 and was #4 in the "all-female" top 8.

I'm afraid I've only heard their version of "I Think I Love You" which was a minor hit in 1991 when I was 5.

There was a third album. "Sex And Misery" on East West in 1995. East West (Warners off-shoot) didn't know what they were doing at this time at all hence no-one remembering it all.
I guess we'd all moved onto Scarlet by then anyway, lol.

OOoh I haven't thought about Voice Of The Beehive in such a long time. They were good though I only ever bought their 'Let It Bee' album on cassette, and a couple of cass singles from the follow up. I might have to think about buying a Best Of cd. I remember really liking 'I Say Nothing','Perfect Place' and 'Monsters And Angels'.
