The one underneath The French is Suzann Rye. www.suzannrye.com/I have the original Happening All Over Again 7", as well as Beyond Your Wildest Dreams, If I Don't Have To Stand Alone, Love Eviction, plus the Lonnie CD which IS fabulous, and should have got a UK release. I got my copy in Germany in 1991 in a market for about £2! Bargain! How Could He Do This To Me was supposed to be the follow up to Happening All Over Again and remember hearing it ONCE on the radio and was really annoyed it didn't get an official release. Its one of the only SAW songs I'm still missing from my collection. Sometime When We Touch was from Newtons album of the same name, which has also got Sky High on it. It ain't great, but I love SH. Another barg buy in a record fair in Brighton for 50p!! I could wax lyrical of the likes of Stock Aitken Waterman for hours, but I'll stop here.... ....apart from the best SAW hits for me are: Samantha Fox - Nothings Gonna Stop Me Now Bananarama - I Heard A Rumour Sequel - Tell Him I Called

Ahh cheers you mystery solver,you.
.''...apart from the best SAW hits for me are:

Oooh I love your choices.I remember buying the 7'' vinyl of Sequal, at Didcot market for 25p !
Oh I could bang on about SAW/PwL too.lol. Erm favourites ? God,there's so many but ones (i'll try to resist typing out 100 songs) that i never tire of ...
Sonia - Listen To Your Heart / Can't Forget You (don't make me choose between them !) Dolly Dots - What A Night Steve Walsh - Let's Get Together Tonite Kylie - Love At First Sight/I'll Still Be Loving You/Turn It Into Love
Oh going back to the Lonnie - did you cry when Tracey Shaw covered 'Happenin All Over again' ? What do you make of the Young Divas ?

I did more than cry when I heard that APPALLING Tracey Shaw cover. It was a mixture of rage/tears/shock/overdramaticness. I'm not a fan. The Young Divas was a step in the right direction, but you can't beat the original with its "woo, yeah" greatness. I have still yet to get my hands on a copy of Tell Him I Called, I have their I'm Over You, but its not quite as good. But I do know Didcot market though . I have to rely on listening to THIC on the Hit Factory Vol 2 comp. Brighton when I lived there was a great place to replace all my SAW stuff onto CD, I think I managed to get most of them, even the Princess one . There was a second shop in the lanes where I got Princess and TWO copies of Ton Of Hits for less than a tenner. What do you reckon on The Twins single? Great song or complete mess (a la Kakko).

Yeah Tracey Shaws version was pretty brutal (although she can sing).Still,I'm surprised her songs weren't hits, what with her being a top soap star at the time. How she landed that part and was kept in Corrie for so long ,is something that I will never understand. She cannot act to save her life.
I haven't heard all the Young Divas songs yet,but it's great to have a girl band with strong voices making POP music, and SAW covers make me a happy bunny ,even when they don't always improve on the original.
I bought the Sequal cd album for a friends birthday, but I didn't know how to copy it for myself (at the time) so that annoyed me,and i don't like to ask him about it now,in case he has re- sold it on Ebay.lol.I can't even remember if it was any good,as I only listened to it once as it had to be posted to another country. I'm listening to the 12'' 'Tell Him I Called' on ipod as I type - it's a vinyl rip (I think) he did for me (i don't have the know how). I'm not even sure if I still have the 7'' vinyl - don't listen to vinyl nowadays and so boxes of the stuff has been dumped in(erm I mean donated to) charity shops.I hung onto a couple of boxes, not sure why.
Didcot market - oh that takes me back (about *?{+%" years).I used to go for the 7'' vinyl and to buy little pin badges of 5 Star,Wham and Kylie. There used to be a stall there that made piping HOT ring donuts covered in sugar.Mmmmm donuts.Haven't had them since I was a teen. OH Dunkin Donuts - do they still exist ? There was one here but it closed five years ago.Omg I've been craving a chocolatechocolate donut ever since.lol *** goes off into a Homer Simpson style donut induced fantasy***
Brighton ? Is Brighton the famously gay friendly place ? Or is that Blackpool ? I always mix those two up,for some unknown reason.lol.I'd like to think it's because they both begin with a 'B' ,but then again ,I always mix up Norway and Denmark ,so that rules out that theory.lol
Ok so now I'm listening to The Twins.Which song is their SAW song,or were all their songs SAW? Looks at pod details... I've only listened to 'Mad If Ya Don't' 4 times apparently so it's still fairly new to me,so the verdict is still open on that one. I lovelove love 'Wanna Be Your Lover'. 'All Mixed Up' - I thought it was crap at first but it's really grown on me,and I like it lots now.
Ooh Princess - I got her cd album at a car boot sale. This was before I had the internet ,so I had no idea that it was sought after.I saw it on a stall and it was £ 4 and I thought it was expensive for such an old cd seeing as I only knew one of the songs.lol.I risked it and forked out the huge sum,and it turned out to be a pretty fab album. I have her follow up album on cass. It's not bad.Not in a hurry to get it on cd or anything but if I spotted it in a bargain bin,I'd buy it for the sake of it to fill in the gap on the cd shelf.lol
I don't think I know 'Ton Of Hits'.
Aww kakko.Haha.Her songs aren't bad.Well, maybe not strong enough to be singles, but could have been solid album tracks. Her voice is so weak though.lol.I do think if those tracks been handed to Kylie or Sonia ,they would have brought a bit of life to them.
Anyhoo, look at the length of this post.See what you made me do ? lol such Waffle !

I just gave my copy of Lov'ed Up away the other day.The version of How could he do this to me is horrible, not a patch on Lonnie Gordon. i've always liked Sky High as a song,i even bought the single of Newton when it came out in 1995(rereleased).i then bought the Newton full cd. the vocals on the album version of Sky High sounded horrible!i found out afterwards that the original vocals of Des Dyer(Jigsaw) was used on the single version of "Newton".The 12" Stock Aitken Waterman remix (1989) of Jigsaw is the best mix i.m.o. Stock Aitken as a team was never as good as SAW.

Oh. I don't want to comment on the thread content, but I'm sad Hotpotato has gone. Hot Potato is a very good online friend of mine - such a shame he left. I shall tell him you asked after him Smurfie. I bought GLAD on cassette single. Don't Worry was better but GLAD was okay for what it was. And I also agree with Potato on More Than Words Can Say being the highlight of Mel&Kim's short lived career.
