Started in 1992, then split in 2000, Dubstar consisted of Steve Hillier, Chris Wilkie and vocalist Sarah Blackwood. Sarah subsequently went onto Client after their split. The dance/pop outfit released three studio albums: - Disgraceful (1995)
- Goodbye (1997)
- Make It Better (2000)
And, a Best Of in 2004. A singles discography (from Wiki): * "Stars" (1995) UK #40 * "Anywhere" (1995)UK #37 * "Not So Manic Now" (1995) UK #18 * "Stars" (re-release) (1996) #UK15 * "Elevator Song" (1996) UK#26 * "No More Talk" (1997) UK #20 * "Cathedral Park" (1997) UK #41 * "I Will Be Your Girlfriend" (1998) UK#28 * "I (Friday Night)" (2000) UK#37 * "The Self Same Thing" (2000) Chart ineligible EP Dubstar are also rumoured to be recording new material, where Sarah is supposed to be sharing the vocal duties between Dubstar and Client. Anyone else a fan?

I aslo love them, got Disgraceful cd and No more talk cd single. Stars and No more talk are both great songs, don't really know the rest of their stuff, also an underrated band.

I am a big fan (as you know Smurfie)
I have all 3 albums plus all of the singles
I have all 3 of the Client albums too, not as good as Dubstar though obviously

I wasn't a big fan when I was about 13 or 14 but my tastes have changed slightly since then, so I'd probably like them a lot now. I did like their song 'I Will Be Your Girlfriend' though.

I loved their first album, but aside from 'No More Talk' I wasn't keen on anything I heard from the next two.

Listening to Stars at the moment at top volume, still sounding as fresh as ever!!Which is more than one can say about a lot of current chart music.

Stars (re-release) was their biggest NM hit peaking at #3. Client have had a few NM hits too.
I particularly liked that line in Not So Manic Now: "I was making myself my usual cup of tea when the doorbell strangely rang".
