Am I the only one to think that this 80s band were absolutely amazing? If you have heard No Doubt's 'It's My Life' this band were the original and that version is so much better.
At the moment I only own 'The Spirit of Eden' and their 1997 Greatest Hits album.
They didn't have that many big hits sadly but their singles of their first two albums are extermely catchy and well produced - they just indicate so much quality.
Towards the end of their career they became disillusioned with the pop world and embraced new agey/spiritual and released the extremely critically acclaimed album (albeit a commercial flop) 'The Spirit of Eden'. It is an astonishingly beautiful, well crafted record that is so different to anything out there. I mean to get the follow up 'Laughing Stock' and the solo Mark Hollis album (whose now sadly retired from the business),
