Not huge amounts of change within the Top 10, but Led Zep manage a second week atop of the Greatest Hits chart, with Andrea Bocelli making a climb to the number two position. No new entries or re-entries this week. Week 4 - 02/12/071 (1) Led Zeppelin - Mothership (3 wks) 2 (3) Andrea Bocelli - Vivere: The Best Of (3) 3 (4) Whitney Houston - The Ultimate Collection (4) 4 (2) Spice Girls - Greatest Hits (3) 5 (6) Eric Clapton - Complete (4) 6 (7) Beautiful South/Housemartins - Soup - The Creme Of (3) 7 (5) David Gray - Greatest Hits (3) 8 (9) Van Morrison - Still On Top: The Greatest Hits (3) 9 (10) Phil Collins - Hits (3) 10 (8) McFly - Greatest Hits (4) Number ones:
Wk 1 - Whitney Houston - The Ultimate Collection Wk 2 - Spice Girls - Greatest Hits Wk 3 - Led Zeppelin - Mothership Wk 4 - Led Zeppelin - Mothership

I probably like the Whitney collection the best out of all of them. At least the most consistent imo, except for I will always love you which i never liked.

Thats what is putting me off it at the moment as well. I can't abide that song - its just so bleurgh! I'm not the greatest fan of Exhale either. But it does have the wonderful So Emotional, and beyond fabulous How Will I Know. I just kind of begrudge paying good money for it, when I know I am going to straight away skip the first track.

So Emotional has always been my favourate Whitney track! All the man i need is another classic, but i think absent from this collection. It would have been nice to have included the UK 7" remix of My name is not Susan as well, but it got to no.29, so it was expected.

OK, i know it's not the right place, but i'm going to rate them anyway!! out of 10 1. I Will Always Love You /1 terrible song that just drags on and on. 2. Saving All My Love For You/8 3. Greatest Love Of All /7 4. One Moment In Time /8 5. I Wanna Dance With Somebody /7 6. How Will I Know /8 7. So Emotional /9 8. When You Believe - Houston, Whitney & Mariah Carey/9 9. Where Do Broken Hearts Go/7 10. I'm Your Baby Tonight /7 11. Didn't We Almost Have It All /7 12. Run To You /8 13. Exhale (Shoop Shoop)/3 Hate this too! 14. If I Told You That - Houston, Whitney & George Michael /6 15. I Have Nothing/9 16. I'm Every Woman/8 17. It's Not Right But It's OK /7 18. My Love Is Your Love /7 So i suppose you can call me a fan!I do miss a lot of good tracks, so why did they bother??? Step by step is one of her finest tracks.I'm sorry but the double cd release is miles better than this one. We had two versions in SA, suppose over there as well? And between the two or the dvd there would've been enough to satisfy any Whitney fan.

Maybe we could have the Christmas chart in here as well, for all the charting Christmas songs?

Maybe we could have the Christmas chart in here as well, for all the charting Christmas songs? Shall be done. However, with some great input from ManicK, the chart has been devised in a way it can be carried on all year around. Retro Singles Chart up shortly, and thanks James!

Have to drop some linkage in various forums I reckon, we can talk old tv, as well as old music. Just a general Nostalgia forum would be good. I'm open to ideas if people care to suggest - TV, Films, Books, Music, Games..... I'm inclined to start a Retro Sweets Thread! Whatever happened to Pacers?
