*drums fingers* I'm waiting mister! I'm not sure I can do a huge list of pros and cons of Oasis - I don't like them anywhere near as much as you do but, there again, I doubt many people could! I still really like the ending to "Whatever" and they've made some great singles too - the new one appears to be a pleasing return to form. I suspect that's because Liam doesn't feature on it though, a Noel solo album anyone? I didn't really like anything they did between "D'ya Know What I Mean?" and "The Hindu Times" though - they just came across as really up themselves and I ventured more and more to the dark side (Blur!) They are far from the greatest or most important band ever but they're also far from the least/worst too. Not quite on Radiohead's level of greatness...

Today's been ok, thank you. Just a very bog standard day though - get up, go to work, return from work, eat pizza, drink wine. I'm currently focusing on next week as I have the week off - about time too! It does, of course, mean that this week is dragging like hell though.

Good man. How would you kill yourself? As I ignored this one at the time... I'm not really sure. I certainly wouldn't jump off anything tall though - the very idea of falling to my death makes me decidedly queasy. Tablet overdose? Possibly - although I'd want some that had a quick effect, I wouldn't want time to reflect and regret the decision. Plus I'm not sure I could actually bring myself to physically harm myself so I guess tablets would be the only way. Mind you, don't you run the risk of being found and partially saved and leaving yourself in a "vegetable state" for the rest of your life? Maybe not then... Having debated it through, I think the only honest answer is that I could never manage to kill myself. Probably too much of a wuss! ;D

Sorry Phoenix - only just noticed your question I'm not really sure which meal on it's own would be the best - but my favourite restaurant would be an Italian one normally. "The Strand" in Matlock is a really nice restaurant and the food there is great (if potentially expensive!!!) and they always put effort into the vegetarian dishes too which is essential if you're a Dandy!

Having debated it through, I think the only honest answer is that I could never manage to kill myself. Probably too much of a wuss! ;D I'm sure the most painless and quick way would be to shoot yourself. Apparently men that choose to commit suicide are more likely to kill themselves using a method that is more likely to be successful. Women are more likely to choose a method from which there is a greater chance of being saved, such as slashing their wrists or taking an overdose. God KNOWS where I remembered that statistic from. Anyway, that's my morbid post of the day... Do you think it would take courage to commit suicide? I think it's the most cowardly selfish act anyone can do...

I'm not sure I think it takes courage to commit suicide exactly but I know I neither would or could do it. Although maybe I've just never been that down? Guess you don't really know until you find yourself in that frame of mind.
I do agree it's a completely selfish thing to do but I also think it must take a certain amount of courage too.
As for the gun method - I couldn't do that for certain. I wouldn't be able to get a gun on spur of the moment so I'd have backed out of it before I'd have had chance to go through with it! Anyone who gets hold of a gun to do it must be pretty darn determined.

Maybe physically it takes "courage", to actually commit the act but mentally, emotionally and spiritually I think it's the biggest form of cowardice imaginable.

lol Yeah it is - darn that Subhuman. Why won't Penny and Sass come and spam in my thread too? As for my favourite board game - I'd probably be really dull and opt for Monopoly... Used to play it all the time and have enjoyed whipping Wylee's butt at it on many an occasion! The best tactic is to get the brown and purple ones...

Yup - used to be innundated with board games as a kid.
I was ALWAYS Professor Plum as he was the purple one - I seem to remember Miss Scarlet being the best though as she started in a prime spot for easy room access!

do you like dylan moran thom? I have no idea what prompted that question but, bizarrely, I think he's bloomin' fantastic. Black Books is one of the best comedies EVER! ;D *Psychic Phoenix*

Why won't Penny and Sass come and spam in my thread too? Because we know you wouldn't like it Good retort! I'm quite like how I'd like to have been personality and lifestyle wise - however I did think I'd have a really well paid job and a cottage in the country etc! The usual "perfect lifestyle" dreams.
