Song out soon called Somewhere only we know? Video reminded me of Talk Talk, band reminded me of Toploader without the pomp?? Very nice song, big things expected, watch out for them, this is their 3rd single, nice to see a few proper and good bands coming through this year, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol and now hopefully Keane as well, about blooming time!!

"This Is The Last Time" was NM #1 for 5 weeks. Look for the NM charts in the personal charts forum.

'This is The Last Time' was a pleasant, nice, good, if not earthshattering song......'Somewhere Only We Know' pushes the 'Hollis' button a bit too hard though......their songwriting palatte seems quite limited...

Heard the Keane single for the first time today and love it. Hope its a huge hit!! Can't see the comparisons to Toploader. Maybe when I hear it again, but don't want to be reminded of Toploader coz they are rather sh*te. Keane have got a lot of hype to live up too, which is never easy. It reminds me of the hype surrounding bands such as Embrace and Gay Dad, neither was able to live up to expectations and the hype proved to be more of a noose around their necks. If the music's good enough though, they should succeed!

I thought Embrace were brill to be honest and love the 2 albums I have by em, great singalong songs! Yep, got to admit some of their songs are still great 90s anthems. I remember seeing them before they had any hits in 1997 and thinking, this band are going to be huge, but it didn't quite happen on the scale I was expecting. Still, glad I saw them coz they are a good band.

When you get older, time goes faster so you just kind of accept it... That said, I hope to have a better year than last. Good luck with your exams GD- are they IB??
