Now I have heard that Bedhsaped is the new single, heard it for the first timer today, ok, will grow no doubt. But have also heard and it is on the release schedule that, This is the last time is the new single. So is it a double A? Or have they changed their minds? This is the last time is brill by the way, have the original release, lovely! Top 5 again possibly.

They have made a video for "This is the last time" but I don't think it's gonna be released. To be honest, "Bedshaped" is a surprise choice for a single as it is one of the least memorable songs on the album, but i'm sure it may grow on me too!

It's about time an NM #1 got re-released.
"This Is The Last Time" was NM #1 for 5 weeks and was the #3 single of 2003.

I hope they release 'The Last Time', that's my fave song on the album at the moment. Bedshaped is well.... not one of the stronger songs on the album. I was shocked when I read it was chosen as next single. Almost forgot to mention I saw them live a couple of weeks ago. They were BRILLIANT! That's the one good thing about living in the States - you get to see these Brit indie bands in small initmate settings for really cheap prices. I paid $10 for my ticket and was almost close enough to touch them. Although I may never get another chance to see them again if this album doesn't sell...

I'll copy the CD for you Andy, no probs. I saw the 60ft Dolls performing in a small pub in Toronto. I thought they were quite good but no one else seemed that interested!

I saw Cast in a small club back in 1996 when they were promoting the 'All Change' album. No one seemed the least bit interested. I saw Ocean Colour Scene somewhere around that same time and they seemed put off by how disinterested people were. The most noise the crowd made was when they played a few bars of 'Live Forever' by Oasis in between songs. As I recall they just played their set and left, not even an encore!

Are you sure it was 1996? Both of them were fairly big by then. Cast's first top 10 hit was "look away" near the beginning of that year. They'd already had their two biggest NM hits though = "fine time" and "alright" were both #2s in 1995. I did see the Kings Of Convenience playing a very small venue, the little chapel in Islington (not the Garage), in September 2000. They were only the support act to Whistler. But they did make a bit of an impression and became reasonably well known the following year though they didn't quite crack the UK top 40 singles. (The lead singer Er Oyland did get into the top 40 singing on the Royksopp track "Poor Leno").

Trouble is that it has already been released, will depend on whether they want to cash in on a re-release or not. Best song on the album for me though.
"Bend & Break" would make a great choice for single also.
