I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

Saves me from starting a thread! Snow Patrol are great! But don't just take Final Straw as a synopsis of the band. It's a good album, but too 'singles oreientated' I think. Their best is 'When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up' which is ACE! Their first album 'Songs for Polar Bears' is the 3rd and last you should get (named that as they were originally named Polar Bears but had to change their name...). Gary Lightbody's offshoot band, The Reindeer Section are bloody brilliant. Probably my best find last year. It's composed of ~20 people from different bands from Glasgow (Belle & Sebastian, Astrid, Teenage Fanclub, etc). 'Son of Evil Reindeer' is a 5/5 and I rarely give such high praise. Their first album 'Y'all Get Scared Now, Ya Hear!' is good at 3.5/5. NME called The Reindeer Section 'The Most Indie Band Ever'

i now own "songs for polar bears" AND "when it's all over we still have to clear up"... haven't really had much chance to listen to either, due to the recent influx of stunning music into my collection!

I'm going to see them live in May. It's at Avalon which means general admission so I can get right up front of the stage! And only $18 for tix - what a bargain!

Seen them a few times over the summer, and they are quite good. Maybe a bit to polished (same complaint I had about the Killers), but certainly played the songs well...
