I've only got the 1995 GH with Sarah Cracknell looking very dippy on the front cover. I really DO need to get 'Finisterre'!

;D You have a date Mr W - especially as Kate's releasing her new album. We should make sure the whole of the Retro bar knows about it. Dunno if there's anything of mine that you want though

Dunno if there's anything of mine that you want though I very much doubt that we'll be allowed back in the Retro Bar after last time!! Still, it's Wendy's fault for having her on the jukebox in the first place - although I suspect that will have been rectified since that particular evening! Anyway, it'll be fun seeing if we've been barred. Oooh...you could do me a Tori rarities CD. That would be MUCH appreciated. Oh, I've sent you a PM by the way.

;D I bet you it's all Dido, Norah Jones, Coldplay etc in their jukebox to avoid a REPEAT of that particular incident.
Oh and of course we blame Wendy for everything as if you haven't harassed the poor old dear enough!

Oh and of course we blame Wendy for everything as if you haven't harassed the poor old dear enough! Dido! Norah Jones!! *shudders* Well it'd be no hardship being barred in THAT case. And just what do you MEAN I harassed Wendy?! She only complained to me about the amount of Kate Bush she was being forced to listen to because she thought I was the sweet one and she could get away with it. AND it was YOU who kept sticking more on! Although having said that, a lot of that evening is a blur, especially after the arrival of the Can't Sing Singers, so it is possible that I MAY have had a few choice words with her - but that's very unlike me. That's not to say that I don't remember everything that happened, just that one or two pieces of the puzzle are missing. Anyway, we should try and get in there next week.

I wouldn't describe you as 'the sweet one'.... well sometimes, maybe. Although if she had tried to interrupt me in my Lionheart frenzy, she'd be in Neverland in Search of Peter Pan let me tell you! ;D

I wouldn't describe you as 'the sweet one'.... well sometimes, maybe. ACTUALLY, I meant to take issue with you over this yesterday! However, I was FAR too pleased to realise that we hadn't been banned from the Retro Bar and then completely over-reacted when Sarah Jane Smith came up on the big screen. Anyway, I hope you like your CD.

I think if we had been banned, Thursdays takings at the Retro bar would have been down by about 50% - the amount of Stellas we got through. Wendy is scary though - wouldn't want to get round the wrong side of her. I will listen to this CD today... and let you know what I think. Oh, did you make it home in one piece?

My fave songs from Saint Etienne was the first ones though, i mean pale movie, hug my soul(can't remember the correct title). I was also fond of the collaboration with Etienne Daho with the song he's on the phone n also with paul van dyk - tell me why.
