From Billboard:
Glastonbury Highlights Head To DVD
EMI will on March 21 issue the first official DVD compilation of Britain's annual Glastonbury Festival. "Glastonbury Anthems -- the Best of 1994 to 2004" will contain footage from performances by Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Blur, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Basement Jaxx, Supergrass and Franz Ferdinand, among others.
Respondents to a poll on the official Glastonbury Web site decided the track list. The DVD will also include the short film "Visit to the Glastonbury Greenfields" and a four-minute clip from the film "Glastonbury Fayre," which was shot at the 1971 festival.
Since its inception in 1970, Glastonbury has become one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the British summer festival calendar. The grounds in Somerset, England, regularly gather 150,000 visitors.
This year's festival is scheduled for June 24-26. A license hearing on the event is set for Jan. 17 with the Mendip district council.
