Really liking this at the moment, only heard a bit of their older stuff, liked Carrion. But this is really good, anyone know what it is about? And did I hear they were Scottish? Hopefully a top 40 hit next week... Check it out if you dont know it, I'll see if I can russle up a link from somewhere...It's all over mtv2 and the Amp.

They're originally from Cumbria and all over but based in Brighton now. Allegedly no 10 in the midweek charts although no one has seen the proof yet. They're one of the best bands around at the moment, new album is out soon and sounds pretty good too. Really liking this at the moment, only heard a bit of their older stuff, liked Carrion. But this is really good, anyone know what it is about? And did I hear they were Scottish? Hopefully a top 40 hit next week... Just got this.... BRITISH SEA POWER Newsboost Draken 23 March 2005 *BSP in the Top Ten. *BSP in Camden Town. *BSP on Grosse Hamburger Strasse. After entering the UK National Top 40 singles chart with an initial midweek position of number ten, BSP single It Ended On An Oily Stage, now sits at number 12. Interesting times. Will Smith, The Sunset Strippers and 50 Cent sit just above us, while Erasure are breathing down our necks at number 13. Kasabian are at number 16 and the full-voiced boys of G4 are at 19. Can BSP maintain this miraculous position? It depends on what the youngsters spend their pocket money on at the weekend and it also depends on you, dearest friend. If you have not yet been tempted to splash out on the BSP single, it is not too late. Virgin stores continue to offer all three formats of the BSP single for a grand total of three pounds. A pound a record? Please help these children in need and make a little bit of BSP chart history. Beyond that, BSP will be DJ-ing at a pulsating new clubland venture on Saturday 26 March. The event is called Adventures In The Beetroot Fields and takes place in London over the Easter holiday weekend, from 24-27 March. You may well notice a similarity between this club name and the title of a certain BSP song. BSP have no official connection with Adventures In The Beetroot Fields, but we are quietly flattered nonetheless. BSP will be DJ-ing at the Lock Tavern, Camden, London NW1 on Saturday 26 March. This entertainment runs between 17.00 and 23.00 and is FREE. There will also be DJ gladiators from Manchester’s Akoustik Anarchy night. We will bring you precise times for the BSP DJ slot when we have them. We hope to see you there. Imagine the joyous mood if the whole damn hut is celebrating indestructible chart victory for the fair boys from BSP. For details on the rest of the Adventures In The Beetroot Fields weekend, go to: www.viewlondon.co.ukSlightly further afield, BSP are also in action in Berlin. They will be playing live at the Mudd Club, Grosse Hamburger Str. 17 on Thursday 24 March. This event is presented by the fine old Karrera Klub. Sorry about the short notice on this one for those outside Germany, but among the whizz and wheez, we plain forgot. We hope to see some of you in Berlin, some of you in Camden and everyone in the Top 20. As ever, many thanks. Yours, The Secretary

What are the 3 versions, 2 cds and a 7" for £3, that is great value, if only we had a virgin store! I hope it stays top 20...

It's meant to be CD1, CD2 and the 7", all with different B sides, but Virgin in Romford ran out of 7"s so they sold me the other 2 for £2 which wasn't bad I suppose ..
