I am pleased to annouce that although I was sure I didn't know who Elbow were that I am actually a mini fan (in the smallest sense of the word). ;D ;D I have Fugitive Motel and Switching Off on CD and love them both. Do you think I'd like Cast of Thousands? or is that a silly question? I found all this out the other day when my Mum told me to find a few new romantic sad songs to make into a compliation for her. That reminds me, I need to start a thread in the music board.......

Frag and Greend will be so happy to have another fan! I like one song, must check which it is and report back as well.

ooh, excellent! ;D it's difficult to say, but if you like those two songs i'm pretty sure you'd enjoy the rest of the album... on the sad/romantic front, other good songs to check out are "newborn" and "powder blue", which might also appeal to your mum... i'd really recommend getting cast of thousands if you like what you've heard, and if you're impressed enough you might wanna think about asleep in the back, their debut, as well

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

my favourite is "switching off"... i'd also highly recommend "grace under pressure" and "not a job", though
